I read the good reviews and the bad, i do sort of agree with both. But what it's stated for, it's perfect. It's dimensions are perfect for a standard spin bike. My Sunny B1110 fits on it almost perfect. i picked up the back of the bike and the 2 front wheels stopped on the edge of the mat, because the rubber is soft, just wouldn't roll on it. The mat is maybe between 1/8" not more then 1/4" thick and soft. The wheels just wouldn't roll very well on the mat till i picked up most of the weight off it. But i was able to get it centered on the mat fine. It didn't cut through it like the bad case i read, but i can see a heavier bike possibly having trouble on it. Not that the Sunny bike is light weight, it's pretty hefty. I have it on carpet so i can watch tv while i cycle, but this mat would work well on hard wood floors as well. As it is soft, i will report on durability after a few weeks, maybe the bike will dig into the mat and create holes, but so far so good. Oh and it has a texture on the top, like non slip and the bottom is flat. They shipped it double boxed which i thought was overkill for a rubber mat, but it came in perfect condition, can't fault amazon's shipping. Will post more if this mat starts to fail.

Love this mat for under our exercise bike! Protects the floors from the bike and from sweat- wipes up super easy too. This is the second one purchased as our first, which was three years old got lost in a move! Held up well to regular use under a spin bike- have used it on top of carpet, tile and hardwood- works great on all 3 surfaces. We’ve actually used as padding between a roof bag and the roof of the car too- and it really works great for that use too! For those that want a real life description or visual of the thickness of the mat it’s about as thick as a magazine (as you can see in the photo). For the price- it’s a great mat!

Soooo very happy I bought this at the great price.. It is smooth on the bottom so it won't create marks on our linoleum flooring. Topside has dimpling to help keep stationary bike from moving. The bike is quite heavy. I have shifted it and checked the mat several times. The mat has prevented the weight of the bike from damaging the linoleum floor. Also, I put the bike in a different position on the mat each time I move it to check the status of the mat and floor. I am delighted to report that the mat is "self healing" within a few moments -- there are NO permanent indentions or traces of the bike having been there, and absolutely no damage to it in any form. Extremely well made and reliable Supermats Heavy Duty PVC Mat.. I highly recommend your purchasing one.

The Supermats Heavy Duty mat is an excellent and affordable exercise/ equipment mat. It is lightweight yet durable enough to last for years with light to medium duty use. I can't say how it would do with repeated heavy duty use. But for what I need it for; it's perfect. It's protected my floors and spinning bike with continued use. The tread and P.V.C. material also effectively hold my spinning bike in place; no slipping and sliding. It's also easy to clean. It's a great product. I recommend it.

The mat is nice quality, thick and soft. But it is neither wide enough or long enough to use underneath a bike on a trainer. I wish I had measured instead of assuming, so it is completely my fault.

I was NOT expecting this to be such good quality. The mat has an incredible heft to it. I use it for workouts, yoga, and jump rope. It has a good amount of cushion (but not too much) which protects my knees/joints when doing jump squats and jump rope. The material is durable and can be washed easily. I will never return to a yoga mat. Cheers,
