How did you come up with the idea for this product?
Bixbee's vision for helping kids reach their potential through education took shape when founder, Luis Garcia, volunteered for five months at schools and orphanages. He realized that kids have a natural curiosity to learn but often lacked supplies to pursue an education. So, Luis set out to create a mission-driven company that offered unique products loved by kids and their parents while also providing a pathway for kids in need to access education.

What has been the best part of your startup experience?
We love the photos and notes we receive from parents telling us how their children want to wear their Bixbee backpacks everywhere. It’s equally rewarding to learn about the thousands of children who’ve benefited from our social mission.
