Lindt dark chocolate bars are smooth, dark, and delicious. Satisfies my chocolate cravings in just a square or two... or three. The chili flavor is just a hint, enough to taste, not much heat. I wouldn't mind if it were more intense, but it's pretty good the way it is already. I have this one on subscription but only have it delivered during months with cooler weather. Not good to order during triple-digit summer days. If you need chocolate during those days, head to the store where it's nice and cool. Tip: The sea salt one is delicious too and great for rare occassions when I don't feel like chili.

By far my favorite chocolate. The hint of spice from chili adds something so special to the dark chocolate. Perfect dark chocolate percentage so it has great flavor and just melts in your mouth. Sometimes when percent is too high the chocolate does not melt very well and can be bitter. They nailed it with this bar...it is perfection!

I specifically bought the chili flavor because I just returned from Oaxaca and had the most awesome chili flavored chocolate! I couldn't really find anything domestically but did find this one. Lindt also has an amazing reputation and I've always enjoyed their chocolates in the past. For the chili part of it, I feel like the subtlety of the flavor is so discreet that I could barely tell it even had the flavoring. Maybe it's me? Anyway, in spite of that, the darkness, flavor and texture of the chocolate checks the boxes. Generally very pleased with it; however, disappointed with the absence of the chili flavor.

The chocolate is delicious. It's not the rich, dark chocolate of Lindt, but it is good. The heat is minimal. I didn't notice it until I swallowed. It warmed my throat and left a very subtle tingle on my tongue. This is NOT a challenging heat, but it is delicious! Very similar to the heat from RedHot candies.

I absolutely love spicy chocolate and this is some of my favorite. I haven’t been able to find it in stores near me in ages, so I was ecstatic to find it on Amazon. It’s just as good as I remember. There’s just a hint of heat. It’s not overpowering and it compliments the smoothness of the chocolate perfectly. None of the bars have bloomed (the dull white film sometimes found on chocolate) so it appears to have been stored properly, protected from temperature fluctuations and humidity changes.

I love the Lindt Dark Chocolate Chili bar and I haven't been able to find them in the stores around me for about a year or more now. I had truly given up. But, lo and behold in a night of shopping, I found them on Amazon and promptly ordered some. They arrived the next day and to be honest, at least one of the bars was a little broken (store cardboard container had come apart), but that didn't stop me from enjoying the dark chocolately goodness with a little burst of heat at the end. I felt like Smaug with his hoard of gold only it was my stash of Lindt Chili Pepper dark chocolate bars. It's the little things in life, right?
