These curtains do a good job for what they’re meant to be. They don’t make the room pitch black, but they definitely cut down a lot of light and give you some privacy, which is really what most people need in a kitchen. The fabric feels decent—not super heavy, but not cheap either—and they hang nicely once you get them up. The grommets slide easily on the rod, so opening and closing them isn’t a hassle. Only thing is if you’re expecting full blackout, these aren’t quite that—but for “room darkening,” they’re right on target. Overall, they’re a solid, no-fuss option that look good and work as expected.

These blackout curtains are fantastic. The photos I attached were taken at the exact same time of day, and the difference speaks for itself. These NICETOWN blackout curtains are a great value for the price. The fabric feels thicker than expected and does a really good job blocking light—my room stays much darker in the morning. They also seem to help with temperature control, which is a nice bonus. Installation was easy with the grommets, and they hang nicely right out of the package. There were a few wrinkles at first, but they smoothed out after a day or two. Not 100% pitch black (a little light can come through the edges), but overall they perform really well. Definitely a solid choice for a bedroom.

I’ve never had blackout curtain that actually work. Most of the ones I’ve tried always let in slivers of light, and were very lightweight feeling. When I received them, they were heavy, like quality high end curtains should be. I’ve tested them for sound insulating, and for heat containing/ light containment. All of them have worked to perfection! No light in room, beautiful shiny finish, soft to the touch. I will continue ordering these every time I need new ones. I have 4 sets!

I couldn't be happier with these! Except that I paid more than today's sale price, ha ha ha. I've bought many curtains described as blackout over the past few years, and none of them truly are. I held these up to the window in midday sunlight, and not one bit of it came through. If you want them to be 100% blackout, you'll have to find a way to attach them to the window frame itself. The material is thick, seems strong, and whelming. It's slightly heavier than a regular curtain, but not so much that my cheap curtain rod couldn't handle it.I didn't want a room with black curtains, so I just put them behind my current curtain, on the same pole which worked fine. You can see a little bit of the black curtain above the other curtain but not enough to bother me.

Blackout curtains worked so well in our bedroom that I ordered more sets to stop the glare in our tv in the living room! The bedroom gets so dark when the curtains are closed that I couldn't see our black Labrador. The material is "satin like" and could snag (one curtain got a snag from our ladder), so use caution when hanging them up. Still worth five stars! I wish I had known how well these work as I would have ordered them long ago! Price on the black curtains was super! The before/after pics were taken on a super sunny day, so there is a white creep around the window, but the room is definitely comfortably dark enough to sleep in. Curtains slide easily to open/close to allow control of when you do want sunshine in the rooms.
