Lovely
A wonderful bookshelf speaker. ThIs not going to fill large rooms, nor should it be expected. However, in near field listening or smaller rooms and matched with a sub, the overall tonality and clarity are superb. Detail retrieval is quite good without being too bright or fatiguing.I have paired with all of the amplifier sources in my house at one time or another: Cambridge audio AXA35 and AXR100, vintage Marantz 2215B, FOSI V3s running in mono, and a 20 year old Onkyo TX-875. They are perfectly suited to the warmth of the Marantz, but honestly sounded great on everything across the board. The Onkyo was the least engaging. However, that amp has a dryness to the sound , much better suited to movies in a home theater setting, so to be expected.

Classic JBL Bass
I put these bookshelf speakers on wall mounts in my office. They are wired to the B speaker output from my amp in living room which is a 200w amp per ch. They hold up well on very high volume.I have JBL Stage line speakers in living room and always prefer JBL speakers. Their Pro stuff is in majority of PA systems used for concert use
